Ibogaine in the treatment of Heroin withdrawal.
Ibogaine is a naturally occurring psychoactive indole alkaloid derived from the roots of the rain forest shrub Tabernanthe iboga.
It has been suggested that the alkaloid reduces craving for opiates and other illicit drugs, and has ameliorative effects in acute opiod withdrawal . However, objective investigations of ibogaine’s effects on drug craving, and the signs and symptoms of opiate withdrawal, have not been done in either research or conventional treatment settings.
I have had the opportunity to experience, first hand opiate detoxification with ibogaine.
Physical dependence on opiates is characterized by a distinctive pattern of signs and symptoms that make up the naturalistic withdrawal syndrome.
Mind sets, that had to be broken!!!
Objective signs of opiate withdrawal were rarely experienced, other than mass amounts of Phycic energy, feeling a bit cold and having goosy flesh from all the inspiration.

The results definitaly show that ibogaine provided a safe and effective treatment for withdrawal from heroin and methadone.

Living life, addicted to Opiates, is like trying to look at life down the flat turned edge of a piece of paper, trapped in a two dimentional night mare with a most profound inability to mentally visualise.
Brain dead, system running on slow. Tired, pale, skinny and sick.
Now.

For me, is complete. I now have my spirit in full charge of my body, instead of just going along with what my head says, I can now listen to my body and myself living my life, let my body make the decisions for me. I was blind, I used to listen to what the so called professionals said. But now Iboga has opened up my eyes, give me back my heart and enabled me to use my mind. I am no longer affected, physically or mentally by any of my past memories, be they of the mental visualised, felt of body memories. They have been some how detached from being able to move my feelings and energies from a centre that is very calm. Looking to my mental imagery I see, A black hole surrounded with a red, pink purple massed universe, shadowed and sharpened by clouds, red and tumultant. But always settling back into great peace.
I took Iboga. I took control of my own life and dumped the system down the toilet. (Sorry for the angry under tones, but when one has been lieed to for 23 years plus, I think ?).
Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall, Humpty Dumpty had a great fall, all the Kings horses and all the Kings men could not put Humpty back together again, so Paul (that's me by the way) had to do it himself and amazingly, even to me I made it. I seriously thought that dropping (Stopping) all that I was on would top me, but in a masacistic kind of way at the time I didn't care. I was dead anyway.

As of this moment, the Iboga movement is growing in Europe and the US' trying to bring Ibogaine into the open. It is clssified as an experimental drug, so is not licenced or ilegal to posses in parts of the UK.
Check with your local Drug Agency for upto date info on the law in your country. Anyway you wouldn't want to take it for fun. Believe me.
